Mental Chains

Mental Chains was formed in the fall of 2008 by guitarist Erik Wretlind and bassist Carl-Filip Björk. A few months later, guitarist Niklas Larsson, drummer Joakim Olsson and singer Katarina Gunnarsson joined the band. At that time the band was called Trigger and they mostly played covers. When performing their first own song called "Bullet", the band noticed a good responce and decided to work with own material only. In December 2009 Carl-Filip Björk left Trigger and the band changed their name to Mental Chains, aiming for a new start. In January 2010 Mental Chains entered the studio to record their first demo.
