The Dead Lay Waiting are a metalcore band from Swindon, England. They are signed to Rising Records (uk/eur). In 2010 they have played download festival and toured with Trigger The Bloodshed across the uk and europe inc they have released their debut album "We Rise" and was well received by the press. They played at this Bloodstock 08, Hammerfest 09. Their video for "Anxiety of an Obsession" is currently playlisted on Scuzz TV. They are set to release their 2nd album 'Almost Heaven' in may 30th 2011! This album will have national press in kerrang, metal hammer, terrorizer, big cheese and the ad's will have tour dates on. The Dead Lay Waiting have been nominated for best underground award at this year metal hammer golden god's award and playing download festival 2011. As well as their highly-acclaimed set at Hammerfest earlier this year, the band have played with the likes of Soulfly, Nightwish, As I Lay Dying, Opeth, Napalm Death and Dimmu Borgir, and their incendiary live shows will be continuing this march.
